Yes, assuming you had a valid US visa. They will probably look to see if you do, and if you do, then it is no problem.
It might be a problem if you show them a Mexican Passport, and are a dual US-Mexican citizen, and don’t have any US visa because you are a US citizen.
The US government does not recognise dual citizenship (but tolerates it) so you are always supposed to use your US passport if you are a dual US-something else citizen, while on US soil.
